Grunley Construction Company, Inc. (Grunley) was established by Kenneth M. Grunley and his father, Martin Grunley, in 1988. Ken served as President of Grunley from 1994-2010. On January 1, 2011 Ken assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer. Gregory M. Druga succeeded Mr. Grunley as President.

Grunley specializes in renovations, restorations, and modernizations of large-scale government and commercial buildings, and educational facilities and has also completed new facilities and additions to existing buildings for both public and private sector clients. Many of our projects involve historic, secure, occupied facilities and on occasion a portion or all of the work is performed at night and/or on weekends to meet the special requirements of our clients. We have worked on a variety of project types under an array of contracting methods.
Since its inception Grunley has been committed to personalized customer service, outstanding craftsmanship, superior subcontractor relations and fair business practices. Our success is evidenced by the firm's current backlog of 35 on-going projects and receipt of over 50 local, regional and national awards for its work.
The firm continues to be active in several professional associations, including the Associated General Contractors of America, Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc., D.C. Metropolitan Subcontractors Association, Design-Build Institute of America, DC Building Industry Association, Washington Building Congress and National Association of Industrial Office Properties.
