
JOEL ZINGESER, FAIA, LEED® AP, NCARB, VICE PRESIDENT OF PLANNING & Business Development
Joel Zingeser has over 45 years of construction industry experience. As Vice President of Planning & Business Development, he provides leadership in the development of plans for future growth in market sectors, services, and geographic locations.
Prior to joining Grunley, Joel’s work established him as a recognized leader in the research, development and deployment of new technology in the building industry. He provided construction industry consulting services to major U.S. product manufacturers and internationally to The World Bank and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Joel has been the architect of record for commercial, educational and residential buildings. He has authored industry standards, technical manuals, guidebooks and journal articles and has been called upon often to address building industry audiences at national conferences and meetings.
Joel has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Building Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a Registered Architect in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. He serves as Chairman of AGC’s National Governmental Affairs Committee and is a Vice Chairman of the Washington Building Congress.
