Kenneth M. Grunley, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER/CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Ken Grunley has 36 years of construction experience. In 1988 he and his father, Martin, established Grunley Construction. He served as President from 1994 to 2010. On January 1, 2011 he assumed the position of CEO/CFO. As CEO/CFO of Grunley, Ken leads the company as it plans for future growth.

Under Ken's guidance and direction, Grunley Construction has grown to be the fifth largest interior construction company and the 12th largest general contractor in the metropolitan Washington region. The firm is ranked by Engineering News Record as one of the Top 400 and Top Green contractors in the nation.

Ken is a “hands-on” executive who has established a corporate culture that is a clear reflection of his values and priorities of openness, fairness, and exceptional attention to details. His approach to customers, staff, subcontractors, along with the work product Grunley delivers has permeated the company and is something he calls – The Grunley Way.

Ken is currently a four-term Member of the U.S. General Services Administration's National Registry of Peer Professionals, a Member of the National Building Museum Board of Directors, and a Member of the Washington Building Congress Board of Governors.

Ken has a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from Kent State University.
