Subcontractor Opportunities
Grunley Construction actively bids numerous projects at a time. We employ a full-time Manager of Estimating Services, Senior Estimators and other specialty estimators, who utilize various estimating tools such as digitizer boards and Win-Scale estimating software from RockTek. Our historical pricing and database and estimating spreadsheets have been created, customized and updated in house by our estimators with feedback from our project managers and accounting staff to assure that our pricing is current and accurate.
Grunley Construction manages its bid solicitation process through the use of a web-based software called Bidcaster. Bid invitations can be e-mailed or faxed to all subcontractors in our database with the touch of a button. Bidcaster allows us to efficiently and easily contact our subcontractors and suppliers with any pertinent information and amendments through a few simple clicks.
Grunley Construction actively pursues contracting opportunities with Small Businesses, Minority Businesses, Women-Owned Businesses and HUBZone Businesses.
Our office contains a large subcontractor plan room, which is stocked with plans and specifications for all of our projects in estimating. A large plan copier is available free-of-charge to subcontractors and suppliers who wish to submit bids.
