Grunley Awarded POTOMAC ANNEX Buildings 3 and 4

The U.S. General Services Administration awarded Grunley the $9,325,999 office space renovation of Potomac Annex (POTAX) Buildings 3 and 4 in Washington, D.C.

The 50,300 gross square foot renovation will include both open and closed offices, support spaces and building circulation and infrastructure support for a Federal tenant. The scope of work also includes architectural, mechanical, electrical and telecommunications systems, as well as elevator construction renovation work.

The building exterior will be protected and restored, as the building is located in a designated Historic District. The project also requires Grunley to meet environmental performance goals for the project, including the use of recycled materials, locally-manufactured materials, low-emitting materials, certified wood products, and waste recycling as well as the implementation of a construction indoor air quality management plan. Grunley is in the final stages of completing the renovation of POTAX Building 5 on the same campus.
