GRUNLEY AND ITS JOINT VENTURE PARTNER AWARDED HOOVER building modernization PHASES 2 & 3
GSA recently awarded the Gilbane/Grunley Joint Venture ( a joint venture with Gilbane Building Company) $158,000,000 for Phases 2 and 3 of construction. The work will encompass the South wing along Constitution Avenue, and Corridor 2 (second corridor north of Constitution Avenue). This includes new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and architectural finishes; the cleaning and repair of the full exterior; and site utility work. To assist in housing the additional staff that will be required to manage the upcoming work, and the remaining five phases (4-8), our carpenters will build temporary offices (to include the construction of the structure, interior framing, finishes, and mechanical and electrical systems) for GSA, Jacobs Facilities (CMa) and the joint venture.
