grunley construction announces several promotions

Grunley Construction, a large Washington area general contractor, is pleased to announce several promotions.
Two individuals have been promoted from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager.

  1. Kevin R. Mitchell has been overseeing the modernization of the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, DC. He has a B.ARCH and M.S. in Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).

  2. Robert Reever has overseen a number of historic renovation projects for Grunley Construction, and is presently directing Grunley’s 1401 New York Avenue Facade project. Mr. Reever has a B.S. in Business Management from the University of New York.

Four staff members have been promoted from Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager.

  1. Ryan Barney was an integral member of the Turner/Grunley Joint Venture Team that successfully completed the historic renovation of the U.S. Treasury Main Headquarters Building. He has a Bachelors of Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.

  2. David Green oversees Grunley’s contract with the Architect of the Capitol to upgrade sprinkler systems within two historic buildings at the Library of Congress Complex. Mr. Green is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering.
  3. Greg McHugh has worked on the renovation and addition at Fairfax High School since its inception one year ago. He has a Bachelors of Civil Engineering from The Catholic University of America.
