IRS Enterprise Computing Center - MEP Addition
Grunley is constructing a new MEP plant addition, which is directly adjacent to the existing ECC, without interrupting the facility’s 24/7 operations. Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology is being used extensively for the preparation of shop drawings, coordination drawings and as built drawings.
Careful coordination is a top priority and smooth transitions are essential during the phased start-up of the new building. The work is in a high-security facility that houses several Internal Revenue Service programs, activities, and numerous senior level executives.
