    Grunley Named Prime Contractor for Potomac Annex Building 5 Renovation

    Grunley has been selected by the U.S. General Services Administration to renovate Building 5 on the Potomac Annex (POTAX) Complex in Washington, DC. Building 5 is one of several buildings on the POTAX campus that will be renovated to provide additional office space for a Federal tenant.  Once completed, it will accommodate approximately 200 occupants.

    Valued at $4.7 million, the Potomac Annex Building 5 Renovation project will entail creating approximately 18,500 square feet of office space with open and closed offices, building circulation and infrastructure support.

    Grunley and Shalom Baranes Associates Awarded Contract to Renovate Center Building at St. Elizabeths

    The U.S. General Services Administration has awarded Grunley and Shalom Baranes Associates a $139 million design-build contract to renovate the Center Building on the St. Elizabeths West Campus in Southeast DC. This marks the next phase of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's ambitious consolidation at St. Elizabeths. Grunley and Shalom Baranes have worked together since 2001 on the phased modernization of the U.S. Department of the Interior Headquarters Building in Washington, DC.

    Grunley to Renovate and Expand the Brault Building on NOVA's Annandale Campus

    Grunley has been selected by the Virginia Community College System to renovate and expand the Brault Building on the Annandale Campus of Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). The building is named for Adelard L. “Abe” Brault who served in the Virginia Senate for 18 years. This contract is valued at $11.1 million and will wrap-up in summer 2015, just in time for the start of fall classes.
