This contract work entails removing the existing fire alarm systems and installing new sprinkler and fire alarm systems in four separate buildings. Also, a new fire alarm will be installed in the heat plant and systems will be tied into the main water line located outside of these facilities. A unique feature of the new life safety system is that it will provide fire alarm communication and monitoring from remote installations. Elements of the scope of work include lead paint abatement, site utility work, and fiber-optic communications.
