Building 2481 was originally constructed as a two-story, 25,000 GSF, concrete and brick barracks building. This design/build project converted the space into usable open office and medical clinic space while adding current building systems and upgrading the facility for handicapped accessibility. All interior non-bearing walls and finishes were demolished and all new finishes were installed. The roof, all windows and the entrances were replaced to improve the energy performance of the building. A new elevator and egress stair were added to match the existing building elements.
