Grunley is currently renovating a portion of the National Museum of American History located in Washington, DC. We are converting the existing parking garage (~30,000 SF), located on the lower level on the south side of the building, into a suite of offices. The new space will feature two glass freestanding pavilions located at the east and west ends of the garage infill space.

The project also includes structural modifications, architectural upgrades, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and security renovations to accommodate the building’s new functions. The museum will remain open and fully operational during the construction process.

As part of the National Mall, the National Museum of American History is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
