This contract involved the modernization of the facade and sitework at 1401 New York Avenue. This job adds to Grunley’s past projects with Orr Partners. The building owners, Wereldhave USA, and their subsidiaries, own various commercial properties around the world.
The project consisted of re-cladding (overlaying) the brick façade of this existing 12-story building with new stone panels, ornamental fins, and new glass. Work also includes upgrading the existing streetscape and entrances to the building and retail tenants. All work was performed while the building ws occupied.
