Grunley Construction fit out 170,000 SF of House and Senate expansion space inside the new three-level Capitol Visitor Center (CVC). The new space, although it lies adjacent to the visitor center facilities, is separated by secure corridors and will subsequently be open to Congressional representatives and their staff. The new space will feature:

The CVC addition was constructed underground on the East Front of the U.S. Capitol, thereby maintaining its historic appearance and Frederick Law Olmsted landscaping. The CVC-once completed-will contain 580,000 square feet of floor space on three levels, within its 196,000-square-foot "footprint" on the East Front of the Capitol.
