The Building One project includes the complete renovation of a ~100,000 SF existing building with selected spaces to receive historic restoration. A security screening pavilion will be built at the main entrance and a walkway connection added from Building One to the recently constructed CSU Building. The project includes a lot of concrete, stone, glass and other high end items.

There will also be a significant sitework package. It involves removing the entire main entrance to the FDA Campus, located off of New Hampshire Avenue, and providing a new upgraded entrance to the campus and Building One.
