The J. Edgar Hoover Building has served as the headquarters for the Federal Bureau of Investigation since it first opened in 1972. This project involves the demolition, removal and complete reconstruction of plaza and sidewalk paving, landscaped areas, and related waterproofing system surrounding the building. In addition, parking garage ramps and related security and snowmelt systems are being removed and replaced.

All work is ongoing while the building remains fully occupied. A comprehensive phasing plan and schedule of work has been developed along with the careful coordination and cooperation between the contractor team, owner, and occupants. All key components to a successful team driven project.
