This complex project required a specially engineered scaffold system to span the main terminal and allow for the full use of the airport while Grunley Construction removed the existing asbestos plaster ceiling and replaced it with a new environmentally acceptable ceiling system. The containment unit designed was moveable and provided passengers and other occupants complete protection from the abatement operations. The facility is a registered historic structure.
