This complex project at Dulles Airport required a specially engineered scaffold system to span the main terminal and allow for the full use of the airport while Grunley removed the existing asbestos plaster ceiling and replaced it with a new environmentally acceptable ceiling system. The containment unit designed was moveable and provided passengers and other occupants complete protection from the abatement operations. The facility is a registered historic structure.
