The project site can be seen above. A portion of the existing parking lot 1 will be demolished in order to build the new train station.

This new contract involves the construction of a new MARC station building in Edgewood, MD with full architectural, mechanical, and electrical support amenities; including water, sanitary, natural gas, electrical, and communication lines connecting service mains along Old Edgewood Road with the station. 

The existing station will remain operational throughout the contract duration and will require construction to be phased accordingly. 

Grunley and its subcontractors will be working within 15 feet of an active AMTRAK railway.
