Grunley Construction has become very active as a Design-Builder. In 2011 Engineering News Record (ENR) ranked Grunley among the "Top 100 Design-Builders" in the nation. Design-build revenues from 2010 totaled $103 million.
Grunley is in the forefront of adapting and adopting over 50 years of construction experience to this increasingly popular method of project delivery. Our firm is dedicated to working closely with Owners in planning, design, construction, cost control, scheduling, and project financing. Grunley Construction's most senior staff includes engineers, licensed architects, and construction management professionals, all experienced in the preconstruction (i.e., facilities programming, planning, conceptual design, design development, and construction documents) as well as the construction phases of project execution.
Our depth of knowledge and experience, especially in assessing existing building conditions, is most significant when the design-build process is applied to a renovation or historic restoration project. Furthermore, our experience in building strong relations with building owners, design professionals and subcontractors allows us to create superior teams, fully capable of implementing the most complex project.
