Grunley is pleased to announce that Mark D. Laudo, AIA, has joined the company as Director of Preconstruction Services. In this role, Mark will manage all design-build and design-assist projects, both pre- and post-award; participate in the design development process; perform conceptual estimating services; and coordinate with the project owners and designers to meet the needs of individual projects.
Mark has 28 years of progressive experience in the construction industry ranging from Project Architect to Construction Executive for a local general contractor. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Operations for Brothers Concrete and BakerDC, LLC – a subsidiary of Baker Concrete.
Grunley is pleased to announce that Joel P. Zingeser, FAIA, LEED® AP, has been named Vice President of Planning & Business Development. Joel has been serving as Grunley’s Director of Corporate Development since joining the firm in 2000.
As Vice President of Planning & Business Development, Joel will provide leadership in the development of plans for future growth in market sectors, services, and geographic locations. His background as an architect and consultant in building industry technology in both the public and private sectors has helped Grunley grow over the past decade into one of Washington’s leading general contracting firms.
