    Grunley Holds Topping Out Party

On Friday, May 3rd, Grunley celebrated a significant milestone in the construction of 1919 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC by hosting a traditional topping out party. Approximately 150 guests in attendance signed one of the steel beams which frame the roof and watched as the tower crane hoisted the beam into place. The topping out party also included a traditional barbecue lunch for construction workers and company executives from Grunley, the owner Keener-Squire Properties and Level 2 Development and the A/E team. The project involves the new construction of a seven-story, mixed-use luxury apartment building complete with 144 units, 6,100 square feet of street level retail space and a below-grade parking garage with 34 spaces.
