Grunley Attends Patriot Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
On April 15th, Grunley was proud to attend the official Opening Day and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our Patriot Park North Athletic Field Complex project in Fairfax, Virginia. The $16.8 million project covers 26 acres and features six synthetic turf diamond fields with related amenities, a two-story press building, concessions building, playground, picnic shelters and restrooms. After more than 20 years of planning and a collective effort between the baseball community and local government, the new state-of-the-art sporting facility is officially open for use. The event attracted hundreds of residents and baseball teams – all dressed in their respective uniforms and waving banners! The ceremony opened with the local Color Guard, followed by remarks from several county representatives who shared the history and impact of the project. Afterwards, the ribbon was cut, and first pitches were thrown! Special thanks to the project’s owner, Fairfax County Park Authority, for entrusting us to deliver this highly anticipated park!
