    Grunley Awarded USDA BARC Building 002 Renovation

    Grunley to renovation Building 002 at the BARC - West Campus for the U.S. Department of Agriculture

    Grunley has been awarded a design-build contract with USACE, Baltimore District to renovate Building 002 – a 34,080 SF, three-story laboratory/office building located on the BARC-West campus for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Beltsville, Maryland. The building’s exterior is historic and was originally constructed in 1938. The scope of work includes a full gut interior renovation with hazardous materials abatement, upgrades to all infrastructure systems and laboratories, and new construction of office/lab space. Historic preservation coordination and LEED® certification will be included. Our design partner is Page Architects.
