Grunley Breaks Ground on St. Elizabeths East Parcel 6 Parking Garage

Groundbreaking ceremony held for 750-car parking garage

On Tuesday, March 23rd, the GCS|Sigal Grunley Joint Venture, with Cunningham | Quill Architects as our design partner, was pleased to participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for the 750-car parking garage on Parcel 6 at the St. Elizabeths East Campus. Chip Scott, Greg McHugh, Oneka Duggan, Adam Grunley, Sonya Brown and Hye-Yeon Jeon were in attendance to represent Grunley. Our design-build team is working with the District of Columbia Department of General Services and the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development to deliver this new, multi-level parking structure to be built at the corner of Cypress Street, SE and a temporary extension of 13th Street, SE in Washington, D.C. Congrats to the team for breaking ground on this much needed parking garage to service the East Campus.
