Grunley Participates in 2019 WBC Rebuilding Together Workday

Grunley team members shared the joy of giving during WBC's annual community service event.

Grunley team members shared the joy of giving by serving as volunteers during WBC’s Rebuilding Together Workday on Saturday, April 27th. The event was led by Rebuilding Together, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods by providing extensive rehabilitation and modifications services to those in need at no cost. This year’s recipient was an 86-year old Army veteran, John H. McAuslan of Burke, Virginia. The day’s scope of work included repaving the driveway; installing a ramp from the driveway to the front door; strengthening staircase rails; installing grab bars in two restrooms; performing chimney repairs; and miscellaneous cleaning and landscaping.

Special thanks to our volunteers: Scott Stewart, Steve Wood, David Kinsley, Matt Shirk, Janet D’Anna, Nicholas Schmitt, Evan Pohlmann, Lauren Biales Wise, Dexter Haynes, John Browning, Ariana North and Jonathan Tackett.
