Grunley’s 1901 L Street Renovation project awarded WELL pre-certification
Grunley’s 1901 L Street Renovation project has been awarded a pre-certification from the International WELL Building Institute! In a recent article written by Daniel J. Sernovitz of The Washington Business Journal, WELL is described as a certification that focuses "on the ways that buildings, and everything in them, can improve our comfort, drive better choices, and generally enhance, not compromise, our health and wellness."
1901 L Street’s pre-certification is based on seven categories of building performance including air, water, light, and nourishment. If final certification is granted, it will be the first multi-tenant office building, and only the second project ever, to earn WELL certification in Washington, DC!
