Grunley's WiC Service Committee Collaborates with Girls, Inc.
Shout out to Grunley’s Women in Construction Service Committee! Through a partnership with Girls, Inc. – an organization that strives to educate, challenge, and empower girls through direct service and advocacy – 20 women who represent roles throughout our firm volunteered to host its very first Construction Week as part of the Summer STEM and Leadership Academy. Throughout this past week, our team led 19 strong, smart, and bold girls ages 11-15 through construction focused activities including safety trainings, plan reading lessons, a mock bid day, virtual site tours, hands-on crafts and a private tour of the National Building Museum.
