The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers selected Grunley as the Design-Build Contractor to oversee the design and construction of a state-of-the-art Child Development Center. Samaha Associates Inc. led the architecturalengineering team that also included ADTEK Engineers AMT and Associates Mendoza Ribas Farinas and Associates The Fort Myer Child Development Center is a 51000 square foot state-of-the-art center designed for almost 500 infants to school aged children. The facility includes radiant heated floors in the infant modules computer rooms activity areas a large multi-pur- pose room and two commercial kitchens.
