Grunley has completed work on the U.S. Custom House renovation for the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) in Philadelphia. The scope of work included masonry restoration, repair/replacement of the windows, a new “green” roof, new building tower lighting with energy efficient fixtures, installation of a new lightning protection system and a high-efficiency boiler. The 4th floor green roof is the second largest green roof installed in the City of Philadelphia. The building was turned over to the owner in October 2012 as substantially complete.
Grunley is ranked as one of the largest interior construction firms in the Washington Metropolitan Region for 2021 by the Washington Business Journal.
