Grunley is pleased to announce that Joel P. Zingeser, FAIA, LEED® AP, has been named Vice President of Planning & Business Development. Joel has been serving as Grunley’s Director of Corporate Development since joining the firm in 2000.
As Vice President of Planning & Business Development, Joel will provide leadership in the development of plans for future growth in market sectors, services, and geographic locations. His background as an architect and consultant in building industry technology in both the public and private sectors has helped Grunley grow over the past decade into one of Washington’s leading general contracting firms.

Joel has a B.Arch and a B.S. in Building Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the Associated General Contractors 2012-2013 National Executive Board, and is a Vice Chairman of the Washington Building Congress.
